The best thing about being in love is warming your frozen feet on your sleeping lover's leg on a cold morning

Doing this with my toes right now, whilst writing a poem about frost. In a hotel room where fresh air leaking in through the cracked open (just slightly) window is better than horrible , dehydrating air-con.

Fab poem. Wintry. Love it!

My toes are cold I need warmer socks!

Sometimes just changing socks does it for me. Almost like the ones I am wearing just will never get warm again, like their warmth is spent. No matter how thick or insulated they are. Can be better just to switch to some new, dry and fresh socks.

I happened to pick a great time to read this! It's the first considerably cold night we've had in awhile. Great start to the season, so thank you for sharing this! I like the slight return to rhyme throughout, too, really driving home the final lines. Very well done. (Reads like I feel right now!)
