I’ll remain, until you allow me go: Where the copper light folds and sifts Our ombre pool of leaven molecules Deep into the dark well, Dashing sparks along the sides, Aglow under the welders spell. And still, until you allow me drift: Where our soft stare holds a hymnal Soaring on our haggard harmony, To where I felt you once at peace in the silence Between the fourth and fifth of a diatonic Scaling the walls of a flooded heart. And I’ll persist, until you give in: Where our signal is zeroed out, dissolved And fuzzed in the space between us, painted Transparent in our single phase denouement, Humming vibrant colours in a shadow cast Long across our face by the rising sun. Until you allow me go, Until you allow me drift, Until you give in.

Thank you so much for reading my work. It means a huge amount to me to have even 1 minute of your time, let alone the attention needed to read and understand these words. If you like what you see tell other people about it - it is the absolute best way to support me and my work and I would appreciate it hugely.
The L sounds are divine David. All of those beautiful sounds. You made me look up 2 words. Lovely meditation, up close reflection. It holds a hymnal on the space between.

SO lovely! I love how the whole thing is painted in a warm, inviting light, that is perfection for this time of year! The light goes so fast, and then the warmth of internal lights can be seen, like stars in the sky. They were always there, just couldn't be seen until darkness falls and lasts only until the sun comes up again. Gorgeous! That we could hope for just one night...XO
