I hope so Paul. Sometimes winter can linger a little longer into the year, but I hope it fades quickly now as the sun makes its way a little higher every day. We have been getting a little warmer every day but with it comes storms and rain.. it is a bit better than snow I suppose.
Love all of this! My ancestral Irish roots (mother’s side, as you can see by my surname) are calling me back to their lands via your verse. And I agree with your equally poetic prose. We have been taught over the last few hundred years (or less?) that we are above the seasons’ changing, but we are inextricably a part of them.
Wonderful David! I love every bit of this, and especially resonate with your reflections about how we really are connected to the flow of the seasons.
Thanks so much for reading, Jeff! Yep whether we like it or not we are part of it all 😅
April 1 brought what I hope is our last winter snowfall. Looking forward to the weather finally easing itself into its season. Thank you, David.

The cadence of the poem is exuberant.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your comments! 🙏
Oh, I have many poems of yours still to read, do expect more comments.

Knew there was a bit of Irish in there 😃. Yes we all feel the seasons change one way or another. It is in there somewhere.
Love the imagery, the beats and the Hope against the bleak in this David. Gorgeous.
