This is really wonderful. It’s all poetry really. I went to Florence so many years ago and it was so beautiful.

Thanks so much LeeAnn. It is a city I've been to a few times now and would still want to return again many times.

The photographs are beautiful and the final image of Florence reminds me of a fine mosaic.

Thanks so much for the comments, Paul. When I look at it I can't help but feel like I am looking over a vast sicilian metropolis.. as if they made Blade Runner but with terracotta rooves.

David, thank you so much for this wonderful post, I love the progression of poem to photos and prose and then collage. There is in a sense in the last collage that so much is happening behind the layers of the collage, all the things you described in the prose and more.
