I find that the older I get, and the more I embrace my own artistic side, the more I love music of any genre as long as it's being played with soul and craft. This fits the bill many times over.

Very nice essay. It's those unique experiences that occupy a special place in ones mind.
And I remember seeing Rory Gallagher back in the early 1970's in New York City.
Incredible, I would have loved to have seen him play live (particularly in the 70s!!) but I am much too young to have ever had the chance.
