So sharp in light
Behind polarised sheets.
Even the black ink seems to glint,
In the hot luminous air.
By the Castle buildings,
Red, yellow, green and blue,
Tourists are spewed out the gangway
into the grand weekend.
The columns bustle, blinded;
Squinting at their hands,
Amongst the patter of kid’s soles.
“Keep off the Grass”.
And through these lenses
Everything is pristine in blue;
As the clouds develop like dollops of cream,
Floating on the surface of our Earth.

Thank you so much for reading my work. It means a huge amount to me to have even 1 minute of your time, let alone the attention needed to read and understand these words. If you like what you see tell other people about it - it is the absolute best way to support me and my work and I would appreciate it hugely.
